Genuinely your best blog yet. And fascinatingly insightful having been on both sides of this shift / process in one of your investments. Niceeee AP. A must-read for any leader like, yesterday.
Alex, I've known you for years. I've followed your blog and vlogs since you sold CC to Adobe. This is by far the best read yet. It's so honest and constructive. I'm also very blessed to read this too, as my new company Charles Private Group is an entirely new revamp of my old firm I sold out of in December 2025. You may not need to be told this, but this article truly shows the readers how intelligent you are and far ahead of the curve you are and have been for 15 years. Keep these coming, much catch up in SW soon. Charlie
The skills gap inside most companies is the quiet killer. Leadership assumes people will figure it out. Meanwhile, half the team is using AI badly, producing output that looks fine but nobody can properly evaluate. You cannot rebuild around tools your people don't actually know how to use.
Charlie - thank you so much for the positive feedback, thats really kind. Congrats on selling out of your company. Touch base soon.
